Babel with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett , a holiday in North Africa results in an inter woven link to other people in other countries , a brilliant film , a must see .
Hyena , about corrupt under cover police officers , one of my best films , corruption and bribery at it’s best with the drug squad .
As others have said Fargo , you will never look at a wood chipper in the same way again .

The beast of war , a Russian tank gets lost in Afghanistan with the Mujahadeen in pursuit , a very clever film , great acting and you won’t want to upset Afghan women , one of the best war stories , made in 1988 .
Beast with Jessie Buckley , made in 2017 , set in Jersey .
Rainman , Dustin Hoffman at his best performance ever .

Kangaroo Jack , hilarious mob movie set in the Australian outback .
The Martian .
Father of the bride , the German or Austrian wedding planner is brilliant .

plus one on “The Shallows”, saw it on TV last night and thought it was excellent. The seagull took a good part too.

Best submarine films in no particular order are :

Under the skin with Scarlett Johansson , I enjoyed this film , when she was driving the van around Glasgow picking up random men , they weren’t actors , no script , ad lib for that scene .
A ■■■■ scene with a log lorry driver in the woods .
The special effects inside the council house of her victims drowning in fluid ,an alien storyline ,not everyone will like this film .
