I think he was only trying to deliver heating oil.

A MAN is due to appear before Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning facing a string of charges after the tanker crash in Wool on Friday.

The tanker hit a bungalow before setting it ablaze.

A 51-year-old man being questioned on Friday was named by police as Hugh Billington.

On Saturday night, police said they had a charged a 51-year-old local man.

He will appear in court on Monday charged with arson with intent to endanger life, arson wreckless as to whether life was endangered, assault by beating, dangerous driving, theft and breach of bail.

I tried it once, murder by chocolate tanker, she is larger than life now!

The driver saw red mist, the police recognise this,a severe form of anger that clouds the judgement leading to acts of insanity on impulse,he will be let off.

Not a decision for the police, I highly doubt he’ll be ‘let off’, and if he is I want some of my 18 months inside back along with the 7 yr ban!

You cannot accuse an inanimate object of a crime! And are you still mad Baz?

Mad as a hatter just not as angry as I used to be.

Excellent reply! You used the ambiguity in my question to full effect. Which “breed” of truck was it in the photo - Scania or was it really a MAN?

he drove the ERF tanker into the bungalow

Almost

The Tanker is an ERF ES8 they were built using MAN cabs I am pretty certain that cab was originally built for or by STEYR and MAN and ERF used it as a lightweight option to the ERF EC. Eddie.

Hence the ALMOST … I used to drive a 53 plate ERF followed by a 54 plate ERF and both were MAN’s with a different badge
