Looking at the history of Christianity, the fact that most people reject it,but want some kind of reassurance to replace it and the need to control the masses,I can imagine how the Roman church filled the gap here.
But I was brought up in this false system which doesnt follow the Biblical truth.Honestly,I detest it so much I cant describe.
In our church we always say, when someone dies, they are gone to be with the Lord.We have hope for them. But with my parents who have passed,I dont have hope that they went to heaven because theyve been led astray by a false religion that doesnt offer any salvation

You sound delightful. Or a parody account. Not decided which yet.

I have some bad news for you. When you die, you don’t “go to be with the Lord”, you just return to the state that existed before you were born.
As Mark Twain said “I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it”.
How about " In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return". (Genesis 3:19) ?

The one thing I’ll say about religion is that it’s a bit of a genius invention, being the most effective method of controlling people ever invented. Control so effective it’s the sort of thing dictators can only dream about.
That is 100% pal, that must be why our leaders are bringing in the next bunch of religious fanatics to control…

"Religion"s come in many varieties.
The Elon Musk and Steve Jobs acolytes, the apologists for various political parties/leaders of many shades, football fans.
Most of the above have mostly normal, rational supporters, but they all have a small coterie of zealots.

Are you a French muslim ?
Nope.
And Im not a lorry driver either. Ive already posted about who I am on here.
Why do you ask? Is religion important to you? Are you some sort of fanatic? Does someone`s religion or race alter your view of their posts?
Well that’s professional looking but a bit bland, I think frilly curtains would make drivers feel more at home and I thought you had a nameplate in your windscreen to stick on the door to make it more truck like.

Well this went in an unexpected direction For what it’s worth after much thought over many years, I’m being serious about that, I’m an atheist who believes religion is simply a bit of a genius man made system of control. (*genius because of how effective and long lasting it has been)
My belief as well but never seen it stated so succinctly.
