As a follow-up to this…
I spoke with a very nice person from the HR dept.
She listened to what I had to say and seemed to take on board all of my opinions.
It helped that I mentioned I was an Operations manager in a previous life(Food manufacturing) So was able to demonstrate full understanding of various H&S regulations and policy.
I reiterated that I wasn`t making a formal complaint and that I was merely trying to make them aware of the environment that they are creating and how it is oppressive for visiting drivers.
I suggested that there should be consistency regarding the implmentation of the policies on the site.
I also said that I was not completely blameless in all that had happened, but I was venting my frustration that had occured, because of the environment they had created.
I also said that they have to take me at face value as to what I was saying and that I didn`t want to make it official, as I did not want any comeback on the haulier I was working on behalf of and that it was a personal matter between Morrisons and myself.
Another reason I did not want to make it official was that they may have allowed me to go into their processing plants again and I told her that I was happy to remain banned form the site, as it made my life all the better for it.
