I had a chance this weekend to talk to my Friend regarding this new work…
The contract begins 01/01/13 , so not much time to look at other Tractor-units for the job, so my mate’s agreed to buy the Unit off the guy that’s retiring…The Tractor Is a Volvo FM 300hp with a standard sleeper cab…It’s about 7 year’s old, but In a good condition…My mate will run this for a few month’s & see how Thing’s go…
I’ll nead to correct myself as In an earlier post I’ve said that “the new unit will nead to be a low-mega chassis”. This Is not true as the Trailer Is a 25ft Step-frame…It’s a strange looking trailer with tiny Ally wheels, but It does the job, I guess…
My mate has already got a driver In mind to do this job…
