I agree with Voyager, you are doing extremely well. Keep it up and more photo’s.
its not going that good now am haveing problems with bumper and wings/steps there is a big gap in the pic thay are not glued on when glued the had to pull apart karen
I stumbled across some pics of this model I made (back in the mid 80’s I think). Sorry for the poor quality.
I’ve no idea what the kit was & it’s long since disappeared so any info would be gratefully received!
Cheers,Martin.

it looks like the Italeri Mercesdes Powerliner, I have one still to build
im guessing the merc desert train kit deffo iveco roof spoiler and side window covers though mate
Thanks for that info guys!
Not sure what I was thinking fitting those Iveco bits-those side covers look particularly naff!
Must have had a bit of a strange imagination back in my teens!
I haven’t built a kit since those days but now have a couple sitting here waiting & I’m looking forward to making a start-in fact I think I’ll dig one out now!
sounds like a good idea toolbox, will be nice to see the finished product when your done! what kits you got?

I’ve just made a start on an original 80’s Revell F12 Globetrotter-picked up recently from Ebay for £22.00!
After that will be a re-released Italeri DAF 3300. Will be looking for period trailers for both as well.
I’ll get some pics up as soon as possible.
Greetings,All.
A couple of months ago I started on this DAF 95.I’ve finished it now so I thought I’d put it on the site. It’s my first attempt so there are better models around - still,it’s the only way to learn. It’s an Italeri Model No.788,1/24th.scale.LHD,reg no.LKJ 465P.
Not bad for three score years and ten plus. Hope you like 'em,the next one should be better, hopefully a Shell Scammell Trunker (if I can find one). Thanks for looking,Regards,900X20.

You should be proud of it!
a very nice, clean build for a first time mate wish my first one was that clean lol
Greetings,All.Many thanks for your kind comments, they do help to spur you on. Attached is a photo of Work in Progress and as you can see it’s a bit fiddly.I think being an old lorry driver helps in the patience department. Regards to you all,900X20.
This is the my latest project on the bench and yes it will be in Toleman livery
and the model
still a lot of work to be done and it will be fully loaded with cars when finished,
hope you all like
Tony
My recently completed Revell Globetrotter-haven’t built a kit for about 25 years!
I’m reasonably happy with the result, it’s not perfect but a good (re)-start. I need to change the Trilex wheels supplied with the kit though-they’re horrible!
very nice, welcome back to modelling
Hi all, just a quick announcement to let you all know ,I have just visited my local lidl an noticed the wooden display cabinet could be an ideal Christmas present the large size was 59.99 and a smaller size was 29.99 I seen it and though it would be perfect for the model trucks .
