Im just in the middle of building a 1:24th scale Merc Actros and Trailer, Will put pics up when done but i do have a question, does anybody know where to source the decal paper to print my own decal set? I can cut my own vinyl letters but it doesnt want to play ball that small… Cheers

Ahh the old favourite.
Google ‘Crafty Computer Paper’. And be advised that printing your own decals on a standard PC printer only works on a light background. So if its not white, silver or yellow, forget it.

Although there are limitations in what you can produce on a conventional inkject printer - i.e. really only suitable for transferring a darker colour onto a lighter background. Crafty Computer Paper is straightforward to use and comes with full instructions.
Hi Everybody,
Just brought myself the newly released italeri volvo globetrotter f12 kit no.752,the price was £34.99 some what dearer than the orininal kits that i brought when they were first released. The kit is exactly the same except the wheels are the modern type with rubber tyres and the glazing is in a bag.Hope all you keen eyed modelers with be out there searching for some,THE DAME SHOP ONLY HAD ONE KIT,well at least my bank account has survived the shopping experience.Paul

THAT F12 WAS ALSO MY FIRST MODEL AND WOULD LOVE TO GET A COUPLE TO BUILD.THERES A FEW ON EBAY.DE IF ANYONE INTERESTED OR KFS MAY HAVE SOME IN STOCK.
CHEERS
TONY THE ASTRAN LOOKS THE DOGS NUTS WELL DONE A GREAT JOB DONE .
My first model was the Heller 1/24 Scania 141.Second model was the flat roof F12.
The first Italeri models had peel-off stickers, which you had to very carefully cut off the sheet.
Still got some if anyone’s interested,in fact I’ve got an envelope with loads of old Italeri water slide transfers,so if you’re looking for something from long ago…
And I found a load of old models that I built years ago, including a couple of flat roof F12’s,one I did in H&S Transport with a tank-trailer,although they are now in bits, looking worse for wear
DAVID CASSIN:
i have a couple of 141s to do up myself.they were re issued by heller last year and still loads about
i have never built one but hope to soon.
I still have a 141 sealed in the box which I bought about twenty years ago.I also have several Heller tilt and fridge trailers from the same time.
Heller had stopped producing them, and then Heller was taken over by Humbrol,so under the Heller-Humbrol name they started to produce them again, but they were very difficult to find,so when the model shop in Ipswich had some come in,I bought the lot!
Got several old Italeri kits too that are still waiting to be made.
