MKM Building Supplies and Stralis Auto

Mackem:
They had axles fall off and various other minor maintenance issues in my short time. As for H&S don’t make me laugh.

This sounds a bit like another firm we worked at. What was it called again

Mackem:
“be a bit careful when you open the (back) doors”

The usual thing was for the loaders to put all the bags in loose through the side and pile them up against the back door so when you get to the first drop and open the door, you end up under 10 sacks of plastic fittings.

Another thing they used to do (especially on the double deck trailers) was to put small chamber bases inside the large risers. All time consuming for the driver and it annoyed the customers as well.

It was a pig of a job and I’m glad I got out. Much better off on the agency now.

Money is better, work is easier and the kit is much nicer!
