brados:
As soon as I saw Daily Mail …Oh by the way, less trucks equals less drivers needed in an already very crowded market place which equals less pay - again!
Absolutely agree and the follow up story for the Daily Mail on the subject will be to launch an attack on all the unemployed drivers caused by this by labelling them all scroungers layabouts scum and spongers in typical Daily Mail fashion.

Olog Hai:
I feel dirty for clicking on a Daily Mail link. For someone who claims to be part of the Campaign for Better Transport, their alleged spokeswoman doesn’t seem to be to clued up on things she’d like to think she knows about. ‘More pollution’… I wonder how given that it would take fewer trucks to move the same amount of stuff?
When you read anything by the Campaign for Better Transport one thing to remember is they aren’t really a road safety charity, but were formed from Transport 2000, who’s main backers were Public transport unions, rail freight organisations and anti vehicle environmental bodies. So they have a vested interest in objecting to all things about road transport.
As for the Daily Mail running such a non news article, they obviously couldn’t find an up to date anti EU story to run on that day.
Quit whining.
