I’m wondering if it is a combination of all of their tracking systems and an error within the ECU.
When eco-roll is in affect, The speed is generally under 56mph, the revs drop down to under 1k and the speed slowly declines to about 50mph Before the power reengages.
I like to try and use the exhaust break when I can, and all best driving practices to make life easier on the road for me and more relaxed.
The day is usually going okay, and then partway through when the eco-roll kicks in, and the alarm goes off.
So it is back through the dashboard control panel to the far right and lower option, to then disable eco-roll. The revs then climb back up to about 1200, with the alarm ceasing.
Then as soon as the ignition goes off, it all resets again.
I’m unfortunate enough to drive one of these heaps of ■■■■, I’m on my second, and I’ve driven a few more in between temporarily, and NONE of them have ever done what you say.

Are u manually setting the eco-roll speed parameters yrself or just going with what’s shown n display? Set it like mine 88 +2 -2 and see if still happens…dropping down to 50 seems awfully low & with those speed differences you can just sit and let it do what it’s supposed to without worrying about the dreaded overspeed or losing to much and set at that you’ll hardly notice the few minutes you’ve lost over those long journeys
I have found out it is something to do with the biofuel system. Ecoroll isn’t compatible with the biofuel The company uses, and so this is their way of managing it.
If it is a hire vehicle, it doesn’t have these issues.

As in ‘Biodiesel’? We stopped using that as everything in our company was always needing regular fuel filter changes and wasn’t as cost effective as they thought…or were led to believe!!

Biodiesel is a very good fuel tank and line cleaner and does tend to clog filters. It is NOT (contrary to popular opinion) bits of chips, batter and fish!
