other merc on the fleet is a megaspace which does UK, rest are volvo’s. so yeah this is the one. its currently weekended in Gibralta at the moment. trailers all vary, shame it wasnt parked up or summit, cud of grabbed a pic for me, lol.
Why would they keep a MegaSpace on UK work, and send that over the water?? It would ■■■■ me off no end if i drove that, when there was a bigger cabbed truck running round uk on containers. No offence

lol megaspace = boss’s motor thats why. we’d rather ave a megaspace, hopefully very soon

Just out of interest, what are the two strips of stainless running down the trailer sides, top and bottom? Are they vents or some kind of protective rubbing strips?

It’s a good answer, mate. Hadn’t thought of that, although it looks like the slots are on the underside of each one. Which made me guess at a vent of some sort. Although I have occasionally been known to be wrong about a very small amount of stuff
Protection for the side panels some older trailers had them on the lower part of the panel
this is the first one i have seen with it at the top as well.

Spot on, nothing more than protector strips.
That is one of Paramount Foods trailers used to lug chocolate to Mars at Slough, most of their trailers have the protection strips on the top for some reason.
