**Yawn & a strrreeetttcccchhhhh…**Who gave the location for the matrix to display the ‘info’ on M4 WESTBOUND between J18-19 stating that M4 J16 EXIT CLOSED, which indeed it was, EASTBOUND!! Who’s the person responsible who didn’t give the right location for that little nugget? :unamused: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

isnt it amazing as to how its never anyones fault in h.a no matter where there based,and how predictably quick they are to inform you of that fact…i love getting told 4 miles from j45 at carlisle at 2 a.m when theres no traffic whatsoever that my journey time will be 4 mins…which is about as relevant as all the other pish that gets lit up…what computer decides that then…or just some beancounter playing with buttons. :unamused:

I always laugh at the signs that are displayed without fail every day before 6am on the 4 lane n/b A1 just after Alconbury that tell you that there is a queue ahead for the Sawtry slip road. There are 7 people who live in Sawtry and if they all drove their cars at once up the A1 in first gear they couldn’t cause a bloody tailback!

Are you sitting down? - those signs get on my ■■■■ too! they are set by the national control centre in Birmingham and nothing to do with the regional control rooms. I agree they are a waste of time. :wink: We aren’t Highways Agency (HA) anymore, we’re Highways England (HE) so signs in Scotland are nothing to do with us. :smiley:
