Let’s just move on ffs .The lad saw an opportunity which could lead to bettering himself and took it… end of, ok, he risked making a ■■■■ of himself and all the abuse that came with it, but if he manages to get out of the job, and better opportunities come up because of it, do you think he will give a twopenny zb what has been said on here about it? I reckon not. I personally wouldn’t do it but be honest how many of you would if you got a decent wedge, and the chance of fame which just maybe lead to better things, look at the “stars” of other reality tv shows where their bank balance bears no relationship to their brain cell count.

I heard from a very reliable sourse that he dropped a trailer on It’s knee’s a week or two ago, bending the leg’s. There again,I think there’s quite a few driver’s that have done that without saying anything.

the makers of this tv program have the genral public in mind so the director needs some one that can string more than
two words together with out constantly swearing or a nerveous laugh at own jokes
an accent that can be understood nation wide and some one presentable

he has fitted that bill

I’ve met Mark, a fair few times.
TBH, in my opinion,I find him sound in person but a complete bell end on the TV show.

Then again, he gets sponsorship from Volvo to drive the truck he’s paid by E.S.L. to drive,has more offers than he knows what to do with from both employers and women (of all shapes & sizes!!!) and is an object of hatred with many within E.S.L., never mind the industry in general.

Good luck to the lad, its not my cup of tea, each to their own.

I’m quite happy to chat with him as & when I meet up, I treat as I find, and I am yet to have reason to treat Mark any different to anyother regular driver I meet day in, day out.
