I tried, I really tried with all this TV and Stobarts thing, worse than Ice Road truckers…You cant dramatise a normal job, it just doesnt work.
As for the TV makers posting it on here and desperation, yes…They are desperate, more people spend more time on their computers these days, TV is very nearly dead, in 10 years it will be gone I reckon, they are clutching at strwas now, as it really is dire, all TV is old news/tech and really shouldn`t be here right now.
It is only the unemployed who keep it going and the lazy bar stewards, who have nothing better to do and no creativity, nor freedom of thought…TV is for losers, that goes for those that watch and those that are part of, who think they may be celebrities
And no, this is not sour grapes on my part, I have had my chances and know people in the industry and some established ‘names’ You can keep it and if the majority really knew what the ‘names’ thought, then, they would not tune in…It`s all ball locks, it really is.

I’ve known Mark for around 20 yrs and he’s a top fella. He is playing up for the cameras and loving every minute of it. Fair play to him and he’s not stupid. He doesn’t think he’s going to be a tv star after truck and trailers ends. He’s said it himself, he’s just a truck driver.
As for the show, it’s great Friday night tv and must be a hit to have made it back for a third series. Its funny, pathetic, stupid, rediculous and over the top but the general public love it! Any professional driver knows there is a load of bull stated by the voice over guy but hey, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it.
Mark, IF you read any of the pap on this thread thats knocking you, ignore and keep doing what your doing.
I wonder if his celebrity has let him get his end away. If so fair play to him and I’d say the raffle winner would have been up for some action if he had shut the frilly curtains.

I will admit to watching and enjoying the series.
It’s a tongue in cheek programme, so all of us so called full timers need to take a chil pill.
Mark’s a cheeky chappy who’s playing to the cameras, and why not if you’re that young and bold.
IMHO… Mark has been put in a unique position… something that the huge majority of us will never get to experience…
he has a camera with him all day but no say over the editing of the footage or what they use… the TV company will only show the snippets out of the whole day they feel make good TV so what we see is a slanted view.
Mark is doing what I suspect most of us would… and making hay while the sun shines and enjoying himself. I do suspect that he does enjoy actually hamming it up a bit for the TV and deliberatly taking the ■■■■ to an extent.
And why not … I suspect he is having fun and a laugh, and giggling to himself at everyone who is taking his antics so seriously.

You’re only saying that, because you can’t be seen siding with those that knock him. Being as you are site owner. That would be bad for business eh?
