after meeting him at Truckfest, i thought he was a decent bloke, before that, i had not really heard of him, as i don’t watch the Stobart programme
all i had to go on before i met him was the things posted on here, thankfully, i didn’t make assumptions of him from this, so, all you lot that are passing jugement on him without actually meeting him, get a life and try getting to know him first

he is a member on here and looks in quite often - however given some of the vitriol he recieves I cant blame him for not posting much
Having met him at TruckFest and also had the pleasure of having a couple pints with the lad… he is a decent lad in a unique (for our industry) situation. I found him totally down to earth and happy to spend a lot of time meeting people and giving autographs way beyond what he had been asked to do as he didnt want to let anyone down. He even took the odd bit of stick and banter in very good humour and joined in. he also has the ability to take the ■■■■ out of himself and does so… some of the comments in the TV programme that he has had stick for have been edited by the TV company so it is not apparent that he is actually having a laugh at his own expense.
Is he having fun? and making a couple quid extra? yes he probably is- and I for one dont blame him. he has a chance to have his 15 minutes of fame so go for it lad… milk it as best you can.
I have met the guy and personally I liked him, If you havent met him and believe everything you see on TV and then slag him off for no other reason than what you have seen on the box. … the problem isnt with Mark Dixon… its with you.

and thats why drivers get a bad name, I gave an opinion on the guy based on actually meeting him. and that is supposed to be an “Adult” response… no wonder some folks think some drivers should have never been let out of the playground. Bout time you grew up a little isnt it son?
Ady, FFS, can someone not say something sensible without a childish stupid retort like yours. I shall now await the your next childish reply similar to the one you spurted the other day … ie, I can do and say what I like because no-one can stop me, he he he. etc etc Believe me they can !
Grow up you dork !!
edit … must learn to type quicker, two posts made while composing mine, ■■■■ !
I think if he carries on then his posts will prbably be “filtered” to ensure he doesnt embarass himself again - just another free service we here at “TruckNet UK care homes” offer to our more special clients
