thanks gardun, it made my stomach churn tooā€¦i couldnā€™t look while those fantastic doctors and nurses did their thing mateā€¦but i am very grateful for what they did. the thing that surprised me was the fact that they had 3 security guys in the a+e dept something i have never seen before :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: . i know its been a long time since i was last in a hospital but it still :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: me anyway.

i did ask a nurse why they had guards and she replied cause we do take a lot of verbal abuse and some patients get physical too :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: what kind of moron would want to hurt a doctor or a nurse that was going to help em :question: :question: :question: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: ā€¦me personally i think they are way underpaid for the job that they do :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

the thing that made me laugh was the nurses reaction when i said i was less than happy with needles or needlephobic as they call itā€¦the nurse said " how come you are needlephobic, with an eyebrow pierced and so many tattooā€™s :question: " to which my reply was simple " eyebrow piercing and tattooā€™s were for pleasure :exclamation: " to which she laughed and said " fair comment, this wonā€™t hurt much"ā€¦yeah right :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Yep get well soon Margate. When I worked on a farm I was trying to pickup a trailer,. Backed the tractor up to the drawbar got out & I was slightly out so I thought give the drawbar a slight push over to get the pin in BUT the ZB jack gave way not to worry the drawbar landed on my middle ZB toe :unamused: . Shouted for help nobody about so had too pull foot out from underneath drawbar which zb hurt.
. Went Hospital which was about 10miles away on my Honda 50 because farmer was too busy with harvest to take me.Only damage was I lost my toenail no bones broken. That was about 25yrs ago the nails grown back but its twice as thick as the rest.
