Never once thought that, all I’m saying is that a good driver doesn’t need a suitcase full of a-z’s or a sat-nav, I’ve manged nearly 20 years with just the 4 maps with very little lost time for getting lost.
I know what your going to say, if I had the maps I wouldn’t get lost at all, but I know people with all the maps you need still get lost from time to time.
Maps don’t tell you road closures weight limits and diversions do they, but a local knows.
