i think mine was about £600 all in, 100 quid for the hinge then the rest was taken up with welding and fitting the new hinge, 6hrs is probably about right

they changed about 2007 ish so the hinge on its own could be replaced, before then the hinge was part of the A pillar and it has to be cut out and a new peice of plate welded in, hence the labour being so espensive
