i picked up a full load of bagged flour from southampton for tesco at stake hill and got pulled by the ministry where you come off the m62 . top weight was 37t 960 kg and evert axle was spot on . damned good loaders , and the bag weights must have been super accurate . ministry man was suitably impressed . good job i used a drop of fuel coming up !

Hi Dave, Bag Wagons didn’t seem to have the overloading Prob we had on bulk, at s/hamton sometimes under then over, then it would be round the back blow some back,LOL"" not funny at the time? but nowt was perfect, Selby/ hull/ barry [blow it back driver] LOL"" you name em, all were similar if you could load on a w/brdg [brilliant] but that would be to easy, and Rotherham if you were over theer it were a n/mare blowin back, just some useless info ? i don’t know who set the pipework up at rotherham chris , but they must have mislaid the plans and used a london underground map . it was rare for the tankers ( banging bob ) to blow a load without at least one blockage . i waited for the bang when he was sucking the blockage back . he was a noisy sod on nights but he knew his job and he wasn’t a dab sort . cheers , dave

Hi ISHIFTS, Just under them Grain Silos to the left of that lorry, had to go down theer one day, Manager sez Eh" Chris they have a Vac Job 4u bottom at Mill, So I goes Down Wit Vac Tank, To av a look, Bloody hell We Couldn"t get through Door Proper, They Had been a Blow Out At Bottom, It were about 3/4ft deep, Took me about 3days to clear it, All in a days work 4the Vac Tank, Picc of me Wit Vac Tank, at tuther side M/C Mill, Cheers Chris
