Just heard that Maguires have sold out to another local haulier and it has been confirmed by a member of the family. They run some of the smartest trucks of the road and the transport industry should be proud of them!!!

I regularly used to run with Paul or Mark Maguire on occasions. Small world aint it .
Cheltenham-based haulier Maguires Transport has gone into voluntary liquidation, and the business sold to St Albans-based Wood Waste Services. Maguires, in business for 24 years, found the last six months very hard, says director Paul Maguire. “Diesel prices have really hit us-they pushed a flat margin into a negative one.” The firm was heavily involved in bulk feeds, until foot and mouth when it moved into woodchips and recycling.
