anyone remember martin adie or terry cole martin pockett all used to drive for magiures
Hi there,
I remember Martin Jones (drove M60PUG, T8PUG and S5PUG (Scania), plus Sean (drove C4PUG FH12 and Scania).
Probably came across some of the others, but can not remember their names. Probably remembered more of the vehicles they drove.
Now here is the pick of the fleet…
Cheers
Ryan

grahamHi you have a PM.
hello. M6 PUG was a stunner.
keyop added many extras to her like the stacks and a few other bits.
before M6PUG arrived I managed to get my hands on M5PUG. I pulled a WBS flat sided trailer which looked cool.

wow doesnt that FH look well. i wonder which one it is. when the call came in to come back to the yard as it was all over i made sure i kept a memory of the last truck i drove and i kept the reg M70 PUG for a rainy day. that FH from dundalk would make a super model. what trailer does he pull.

Hi Paul,
That certainly looks tidy, do you know how long he has had it?
This one must be M60PUG based on the date on the photo.
M70PUG was at a Volvo depot for sale last June and was reregistered as M2CDV at some stage, previously running for Hartleys until at least April 2008.
See Terry’s picture site below for some cracking pictures including two of M2CDV.
Cheers
Some more pictures…
and some more older memories, but these are scanned in from photos…where are they now?
and finally, some shots of OV51FWH (S5PUG) with Jim Bertie Haulage, South Wales. Not sure if he still has this one?
well what some memories there. T8 PUG VOLVO FH12 was knicked from the yard in tewkesbury and used in a robbery then it was dumped in trafford park and then set on fire. some great pics there of the trucks in the yard in tewkesbury. one of the pics shows andy green in his new DAF parked in the workshop in tewkesbury. he now drives for gordon gilder i think.
A few of the guys are on with Gilders I think, Sad Sack was with them as well as Andy.
Paul is also in the DAF
yes i see him sat there. and stood by the fire in the yard. paul is working for edwicks still. he loves getting his hands dirty bless him.
My 2 brother in laws work there.
The one started with that 143 with the bolt on spacecab.Said it leaked like a seive.
I think they bothe enjoyed their time their.
Always kept busy,If you know what i mean

Didn’t Barry ‘Noddy’ Holder and Dave ‘Keyop’ Burley used to work for Maguires? I used to drink with them in Bishops Cleeve. Noddy had a mate who worked there Sean someone or other. Blond hair, drove a campervan a real nice bloke. If memory serves me right just before the end he was not happy cos he was taken from his Scania and given a 380bhp Volvo. Anyone know who I am on about and can remind me of his last name?
Hi,
Noddy was on with Ralph Davies on the MRI Scanner work last I heard.
Sean 's FH was up chipped to a 460, but it retained the 380 badges. Think he went onto work for Wincanton Glos?
Sorry I can not remember his last name, great guy. Drove C4PUG.
