The worst ‘tramlines’ I remember were on the Namur-Brusssles motorway back in the late 80’s, desperate!!

When it rained it must have scared the living daylights out of car drivers, I can imagine, as they attempted to overtake something equivalent to a speed boat. Visibility must’ve been atrocious.

and what about that “SPEED BUMP” on the M58 just past junction 5 eastbound at skem ■■
how long has that been there ■■
That’s an outstanding bump it’s been there a good long while now, I reckon the whole motorway is slowly sliding downhill. I’ve been thrown round the cab like a ping pong ball off that one more than once. I’m pretty sure it’s getting bigger too
no no no you’ve got it all wrong.
The experts assured us that 5 and 6 axle 38+ ton lorries were cuddly wuddly things that would do no damage to the roads with their soft silky suspension and foam rubber tyres that float over the surface barely kissing the tarmac, it must have been those evil 32 tonners back in 1979 that caused the problems.
