We’ve had Poms of all occupations from truck driver to teachers come here and improve their situation, but they all had some get up and go and weren’t afraid of work.
You mean happy to work within the eligible list of jobs that Australians don’t want.
Truck driving isn’t one of them.
Do you have problems with compression? There are plenty of Poms driving trucks here, some even on this forum.
You might be an expert in your own bathroom, but the actuality is vastly different in the real world. How many times have you been to Australia?

Yes, the Fosse Way is a lovely drive. I sometimes go to Leicester to see family, so that’s one I know. I’m looking forward to doing some alternative route planning.
I heard or read somewhere that the Fosse Way is some kind of strategic route. I used to use it a lot and it always struck me that it was kept in good repair and potholes were nonexistant.

It was established by the Romans and linked Exeter via Bath,Cirencester and Leicester to Lincoln.
When I was a boy my dad used to drive from Newark to Shepton Mallet and used the fosse Way for a large part of his route.In those days,50s to 60s I remember stretches south of Leicester down to Stow as being single track and having gates in places to close behind you after passing through.
