Lorry driver sought by police

Goldilox:
I did notice it did not state ‘alleged ■■■■’ as some reports do. Odd that the woman was sleeping in her car though.

More likely a reporting error/mistake. You can’t state for certain it was ■■■■, even if all indications point towards that. Innocent until proven guilty, and the driver should be treated as such until a sentence says otherwise.

truckman020:
might have been Jeremy Clarkson training to be an hgv driver now hes been sacked from top gear

He’s a multi millionaire, dude. I doubt he’d demean himself to a low paying labourer’s job, which is what being an HGV driver is.

No not training to be, he already holds a class 1, has for about 20 years. Took it to do a story for his Sun column. May, or Hamster that’s another story

dieseldog999:
to the delay in complaining about it,then theres always the chance she was a prozzy that was daft enough to take a post dated cheque from the truckie that has now unsurprisingly bounced??
theres always a risk when your sleeping in a layby with your window down if your mouth is prone to sagging open in a deep sleep,no saying what could pop up.same rules apply when sleeping on a ferry…jam your bum into the corner, and tighten your belt round your chin…

never knew that about clarkson

it was meant as a laugh, and you earn a lot less as a labourer,so I reckon not,
