A few have stated Air Ambulance charities. I agree. And seeing how my son, got the all clear from cancer for the 2nd time today… Cancer Research in Ireland. Top job Beaumount Hospital!
Good idea. Am hoping to do it 50/50 with Irish charities. This is assuming I make much. Up to £18 so far though so pretty good
Well done son! I’ll have a looksee tomorrow. Going beddy byes now.

yep although he still has a couple of names left
No he hasn’t!
He still has an opinion though, that will never be switched off!
I would never knock anyone who does anything for charity either & think this guy Luke does a sterling job, I have driven lorries for over 30 years in mainland Europe & beyond & having watched the videos, I know he knows what he is talking about, a rare or infrequent occurrence these days no matter if you have 10 user names or you would just like some womens knickers sent to you !!!

Yes that one, we have seen it in action with poor old Funnyfut.
Air Ambulance and RNLI are my other supported charities.
anything to do with Cancer or Heart charities do not get my vote because of the prices they charge in the rip off charity shops
As a Trustee of the Professional Drivers Foundation it would be very remiss of me to let this thread pass without any comment.
The PDF is the only charity specifically for lorry drivers and their families. It is a small charity compared with other well known ones but that has many advantages. It means that 100% of the money donated goes to help the drivers who need it and isn’t swallowed up in paying wages or outrages expenses from printing, premises and publicity.
We try and help drivers back to work after illness by paying for, or sourcing firms who will retrain them into another part of this industry we all love, such as transport managers or fork lift drivers.
We of course give financial help to pay bills and buy urgently needed items as and when needed which is often in the case of a sudden illness that takes away your vocatlicenseicence to earn a living. In most cases that’s unexpected and just adds financial worries to everything else going on at the time. If we can ease that, then what the PDF does is worthwhile.
There have been many more since Funnyfut, who we all remember fondly, but we promise absolutely never to disclose the identifying details of anyone we help, which makes it hard to brag about what we do but the one thing lorry drivers will always have is pride.
The Trustees are all lorry drivers, doing the PDF around full time jobs and we, of all people understand that.
The vast majority of the money that has been raised over the years has been raised and donated by lorry drivers, but rest assured that every penny goes back to drivers less fortunate than we are at the moment.
We never know what’s on the road ahead, the least we can do is make that road passable, and not the road to nowhere.
Please consider us

One that is often forgotten but helps people who help us when we need help.
Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
helps fire fighters and the families of firefighters injured or killed on duty, who else runs towards trouble, when we are all running away. Who will cut us out when we are trapped. Pramedics and air ambulance do a fantastic job, but often its thanks to the skill and expertise of fire fighters.
