Quick question, why is the driver down the side of his trailer like that? Bit of a bad time to need a ■■■■■.
not sure but it does look like he about to lower the landing gear
I bet that cost a few quid

He’s telling the immigrants to run before they’re mentioned on “Truckers With Pride” on Faceache.

Maybe the plan was to try & uncouple then have the wrecker reposition the trailer? Looks like he’ll have had a job though!

never heard of that one, neither has google
A few years back I tried to turn around in the forestry by reversing onto a track, I did get out and check the ground first and it seemed absolutely fine, how wrong could I have been the trailer sank down to its axles, we didn’t get it pulled out until I had unloaded it, then my load was too far away for the grab … so I just drove back to the pile and put another load on, don’t think anyone noticed … LOL … but it did cost me about 4 hours.
Nice touch with that geezer bowing to the tow truck driver… bit like the pope kissing the ground when gets off a plane.

Pfffft. Amateur.
Any decent driver would have got round there whilst sipping a brew

Why do they do it. I have to admit I was looking for a farm this week and turned down the road it was supposed to be on. I missed the entrance as it was hidden behind a new housing development. I knew there was an eighteen tonne weight limit bridge further up this road. When I could see the bridge it was obvious I had missed it. Two choices, go over bridge or go back. Nowhere to turn so I had to reverse. Slowly and stopping when traffic appeared . Bit of a clat but job done. Lot quicker than being recovered and damagedPanic & being flustered can make people do stupid things. Not that i’m excusing him, trying to turn around there is just beyond comprehension.
Reminds me of this:
Wonder why he didn’t just reverse back and screw it round on the left (looks like a turning circle) ?

Whenever that video gets posted I wonder the same…even if he couldn’t spin it there (which he wasn’t far off doing it where he had tried except for that wall) it looks like a side road…could have just backed it in…would have been a good side reverse too.
