A couple of Robert Armstrong photos courtesy of Richard (Trickie Dickie)Snowdon.

I posted similar photos of my own previously.

just to say i cant make it on sunday as im off to germany !!! and dad is back in hospital again so wont make it either :unamused:
winchester hospital must love him :unamused: you all have a fantastic time and hope to see some of you soon

This is a bit ironic: I’ve just noticed on the front of Reiners F89 is the German sticker “Fern schnell gut”, translates to truck drives well? Shame about the driver ability.

Badger:
Pat
was it worth shipping them back from the Channel Island,
better to just push them off the side into the drink
Jeremy

Hey Jeremy I can’t knock it as it gives me a job most weeks, I presume the cars have to be taken off the islands, there are quite a few, a Silverlake transporter was there collecting some smashed cars at the same time!

Regards Pat

Hi Gary,

Was that when Reiner left the A2 went down a bank and straight across the M2, or the A20 ? I think it was John Smiths regular truck and he was on holiday,he used to run to Yugo every week with it. I was in South Petherton where he lived this week but couldn’t find him,he has loads of pics which would be good to put on here.

See you tomorrow

Regards
Richard

Can’t remember where Reiner took to the scenery.

Here is another wreck,I don’t remember the circumstances, photos from Trickie Dickie again:

tribsa:
Hi all happy New Year
This is new to me but here goes
Idont rember C.Morgan ever having a haulage fleet only to deliver & collect parts espcially ex MOD cages They did have a trailer renal service.
The front garage which sold MANs is called Rosehill Garage and yes they were Foden dealers before
My farther bought a couple from them just as thet became MAN dealers in about '73/74.
Spartrucks at Andover became the Foden dealer reverting to the fullSparshatt name but were not as good as Ron Morgan who runs the garage
Tribsa

Spartrucks of andover where Mercedes truck agents , sparshatts where foden dealers as described , i was an apprentice there through end of seventies to eighties when they shut.

Jim
Hark at us critics when we point out things on your models, AS IF we could do as good… DON’T THINK SO■■?,
I always balls-ed up my airfix airplane models so they looked like the end result of dog fights
so keep up the excellent job,
Jeremy

Thanks to all who went to Tim’s yesterday and for the birthday cake.

A really special thank you to Jim for the model which is now a very highly prized possesion

Regards Pat

Hi Pat when you get a minute take a photo of the front cos I know I put a poppy on it !!! Gerbil you should have gone to spec savers ( the above pics were taken before the poppy went on Kev ! ) And the dogs and chains and the jump leads and bolt croppers and the King plaque on grill! Sorry about the out of date tax disc!!
Enjoy Pat !
Thanks Badger !!

Regards Jim

Well done everyone, another successful and well attended re union, great stuff.
Always a pleasure to see all the old faces again as always.
I must admit that when I arrived I thought for a moment that I,d taken a wrong
turning and was in the hospital waiting room seeing Paul and Eddie on crutches and then Steve
turning up after his treble bypass op. Perhaps next year we ought to have a nurse in attendance just in case.

hi Jim let you off mate another really good job spot on mate

Tony what time did you go home
