You can park a truck at the top of Somo,there is a small cafe and garage up there on the south bound side.

Mappo was going to come and give a talk on the 1936 Olympics when he competed in the Team GB Tiddlewinks competion, he didn’t get a medal because when he tiddled he winked and when he winked he tiddled

Hi MaggieD I just better put the story right although I used to be a good swimmer in my early years , and later a lifeguard at the Southampton Lido, the only thing I wanted to win this year was a ticket FOR the Olympics not that I had much intrest in them anyhow !!! Would have made a few bob tho !

Hi all when i was driving my horses at the week end in Dorset the guys son was there and he said Phil Grant drove a RORO truck for him on scrap and he may come to the bash, if you read this Phil ime sure every body would like to see you there so make the effort mate it will be worth it.If any one has his number ring him and G him up to come. By the way Pat why dont you get Compo to come while where at it.
