Hi Jimski.I worked with Danny Moss when I was on for Jamesons many years ago.Last time I saw him was when I was on for Royers doing boxes. He was then on for Pitters doing the same.We had a few good laughs down on the berth.I believe he went to Pentalvers? not sure but when you get out of the game you lose touch.Regards Charlie

Hi Jimski, sorry I did not comment on Dave Chivers earlier. Yes I knew Dave back in the early 70’s and met him some time later when he was visiting my old nieghbours house. His daughter (step daughter ■■) Karen got engaged to thier son and later married. If I remember right he was going to move to Spain. Wether that happened or not I dont know as I moved and did not see him again.
Kj1963 put a few people right about his family and where they are from. The only thing I think he forgot to mention was that his grandad is actually burried in the churchyard of St Mary’s in Sholing. I rang Charlie and he told me of the guesswork that had been made and I couldn’t help chuckling waiting for Kev’s comments.

Hi Jim.Yes,the dreaded “D” caught up wih me.I was on tablets and diet for years but finally had to give in.That was in 2003.Now shooting up three times a day.Body like a bloody pincushion.A word of warning to all you lads out there.Watch your diet.Cut out the sugar and keep your weight down.Doctor Charlie has spoken.Mind you I still have the odd jellybaby! Regards Charlie

Sorry, I must have missed the question about Dave Chivers. Used to deal with him when i was at Volvo, he had a new F12 but it was supplied by Rydales of Chingford me thinks. Driven by a nice chap with many gold teeth. I’m sure he had his own fridge doing work for a Meat Company that was being run by Mark Viner before his move to Chingford Fruit Packers, Mappo will remember. I’m sure Dave lived Bursledon way.

Danny Moss is shunting for Pentalvers by 107 railhead.
