I remember Colin Glasspool he still lives at Baddesley near the Baddesley Arms and he used to live by the Hardware Store, but as for who you are ■■?Let’s have another clue for us simpletons
The other Jim was Jim Street, see memory not that bad
Ok lets see if you get any warmer. I regret the day I never bought a scanny off you and ended up with a Renault R310 then an R340 !!
But then you were too dear for the piece of scrap you tried to pass on to me !!
I WOULD RATHER PUSH A SCANIA THAN DRIVE A RENAULT
Richard…That was a quick tip in Napoli, cant be assed to find a re load mate just run back empty.
Can you make the morning ferry cos i,ve got an urgent pick from Pompey tomorrow for Romsey and
have got no one closer than you to cover it.
Call into Albinis at Prato for some running money. ( tell ,em it,s on R & A,s account )

Is this where the tea goes■■?
Another pic from Marc (Bubbleman) who is now back on line with his ‘Scrapbook Thread’ this time the LTS Foden only trouble was the wheel base was too short and the trailers would knock the engine cowling off, I seem to remember the driver phoning the office to warn them and their advice was to take it steady. When asked what did he do the driver told Tony Eldridge of Sea Route Ferry’s workshop, I just knocked the cowling off steadily

Hi Pat, So shovel hands !! You haven’t guessed, Last clue, I now work for P&O or Carnival to use the correct name. Now you should be able to guess cos it was mentioned recently. and what about Southern Traction ■■
Chris would say that as he wouldn’t have driven it, but it did have a great sound?being a straight eight. I drove a later model Foden whilst on demo for them huge cab but sod all room?
Pat your going to have charge for your Tea, with your increasing gatherings
Jeremy
Forgot to say Colin Glasspool worked with my Dad @ Conoco @ Micheldever before starting on his own, I went with Him to Marseille in 77 with an East Line trl & went to Madrid when he was on Partrans when he finished with them He worked for us driving my Daf 2300 on for LTS for about 6mths

Hi badger. So I presume this was in Andersons Road many moons ago. I also had my yard opposite LTS - Eastwood Freight Services. Haven’t seen Colin G for
a couple of years now but bumped into Nick (his son) a little while back. Not sure if Pat D has guessed who I am yet.

Hi, nobody has pics of Eagleway Freight? They were from Fareham near Southampton (or is that too much out of the area?).

Tony, Sorry mate I’m just leaving Prato, couldn’t get any sleep with those kids roaring round the square on their mopeds, I should have done what Chad off Mammoth used to do, empty a can of engine oil across the road ! So I got up and went on the Frizzante in the railway bar
Mario at Albini’s wanted to know if the driver from Southampton who looked like Nana Mouskouri was still about, I said I didn’t know who he meant !
I’ll ring you from “The Ferryboat”
Regards Richard
Eagleway are in Southampton now in 45 Berth with Hulin-Renouf

Richard, i,m very disappointed in you going on the p*ss.Certainly would,nt have happened in my day.
There will now be a trailer waiting for you in Le Havre. Paperwork will be with Serge in the freight office.
Can you please ensure that my pallet of Frizzante goes on the Dragon
.
i dunno Tony !! theres drivers and theres drivers aint there !!
Hi Richard,
R Jimski
mappo, i think we got off lightly with the hair colouring bit.
richard, have you retired to your country retreat yet, after all those years in haulage.
jim, nice to catch up with you again after all these years, were have to get pat to invite richard for tea.
Tony,
I’m in Le Havre in the freight office, I’ve seen Serge he says the trailer is on the waiting list, when I challenged him about this he said " It’s not for me you know" it was not like this when I worked on “The France”, I said ok ! luckily Beatrice was passing by and has very kindly put me up for the night
With those pills you gave me when I shipped out I should be ok
I will turn round for Italy again just waiting for Lenny Carman to arrive with the Cluses red stamp
Bonsoir Richard
