I seem to remember the guv,nor being a big chap…well big bellied anyway,
and the son who used to work at Vivonne ended up at Castets.

Yeh Kerbut it makes yer feel old don’t it.
I remember when Vivonne opened there was just a dirt track to it
off the RN10 for a while.
When was that do you think…about 1983/4 I reckon.
Yes ,I would think thats about right . The one thing that I do remember was the smell of drains in the bar at Castets ,where the toilets/showers were below ground level and the smell used to come up the stairs.
