Does anyone know which agencies arrange lodgings etc for you.
All that died the death when the recession hit and suddenly there was a glut of local drivers looking for work.

several agencies own houses where maybe four drivers share (I have heard of up to six near Heathrow) but this is long term, not short term. H&G for instance have houses in Hertfordshire/North London but hen you are a bit tied to them. Conversely you may get first shout at the work offers as they need you to earn to get their rent!

Or…try camping. There are 3 sites in north London. Pitch a tent for about 8 quid a night http://www.leevalleypark.org.uk/en/content/cms/where_to_stay/campsite_prices/campsite_prices.aspx but you get much cheaper than that just outside the m25
Where are the south east firms with work in the Bromley, Orpington, etc areas that are paying £13.50ph plus?
At present, I’m having to go to Croydon to get this rate, and I’d rather do the same in another posh borough that’s half the distance…
I know Allied Bakeries have a big place in St Mary Cray, and last time I worked for them about 10 years ago, they were paying £16ph then! (Hovis Artic) 
Which agency has them on their books?

Umbrella/ltd/SE only when I turned up at one of their “walk ins”.
They let me spend half a day there before telling me “No PAYE” despite me asking over the phone beforehand. Cheers then. 
They’ve got lots of DHL into Sainsburys at Dartford Crossing 6am starts monday to friday.
The plum hourly rates are for nights and weekends, but there wasn’t any it turned out. Earlies, midweek and that’s your lot.
Think TRG is the Main Agency for Tsco Welham green,Thurrock,Southampton and maybe Ditcot too
Now at any site,if reeds.co.uk or fish4job.co.uk or wherever they hiring.
Worked for them when they were Southern recruit.Didnt get on with staff of them in weybridge.Still missing pay for 3 Weeks as they worked with a Umbrella from Isle of Man and i was on Maddison.So i left.
But Staff they have at welham is great,and thurrock seems not bad too.
But Luton/Dunstable they have anything i hear talking you bank every over 9 Hour and get paid them if you do short Shift which never happens. Dont know if its same Site they dont pay POA,but thats done by the Company,not the Agency.
So,TRG welham Green and thurrock is OK. And H&G Heathrow and hatfield is OK too.
Both do Housing
