If it is through an agency then they are notorious for false promises and telling porkies. Whether you are about to leave a job based on what they say probably won’t be on their radar.

A lot of the time it is zero hours guaranteed. Many times if you don’t help them out, then you will be punished with poor shifts for however long the particular consultant thinks appropriate.

One thing to consider is that despite equal pay now being fairly normal for agency workers, equal hours isn’t. A question I would be asking would be what the guaranteed hours are. It would be hellish to be out tramping and only be guaranteed 4 hours work, as you could possibly end up parked up for 20 hours and with very little pay for the time you have been away.

Lp don’t control your hours , that’s done by the depot your at so it would be no good asking what hours your going to do , anything you ask them gets referred back to the depot ,

Christmas pay slip. Not that hard to achieve really on agency that time of year.
If its that much all year round for reasonable hours then I’m impressed lol.

All year round doing max hours basically , 5 days mostly but did cut back to 4/3 , you can earn £1,000 easily
But as I’ve said many a time you have to take hol out of that ( I put £100 pw away) , pay for your cpc , no sick pay etc etc
But if it’s r/W Spalding o/p is on about then the rate there advertising is nowhere near what I was on ( even that according to mates has been cut ) ,

Seems totally legit…
Filipino owned, “packaging activities” company with £1 in the bank

If you mean ludwell ltd that changed what seemed every couple of weeks, maybe it changing on a regular basis peeked the interest of the tax office which I seemed to get a letter off on a regular basis

Hi,

Has or does anyone work with them? I have a assessment with them for a 4 on 4 off tramping job l, just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with them and what they’re like to work for, it’s fowler welch that I’ll be going to that’s all I really know.

Calling the forum expert on this, I’m sure he will extol the virtues of working for them, especially the £1K+ a week wages

i hate to disappoint you

Show us your list payslip?

List payslip ? You’ve lost me , do you want to see them all , I can’t be asssed to post them all up
You’ll get paid your hourly rate ( if it’s fw Spalding there advertising at £13.99 ph ( £13 something anyway ) x how many hours you do
So round it up 14 x 72 = £1008 + £100 night out money = £1.108 pw do a extra shift you get more
But you won’t get any holiday money so you have to put money away for hols , or as loads did , don’t have a holiday , no sick pay unless £50 one week , £70 another is classed as hol pay , cpc etc you pay for
My hourly rate was a lot more than the advertised rate at fw Spalding , but so I’m led to believe even that’s been reduced
I’ve told you as much as I know , it’s from a few years ago so things may of changed , I doubt , my mate who was lp has gone full time culina , he says after pay cut there’s nothing in it
Best of luck

They seem to permanently fill job boards up with ad-hoc work.
Want you to pay for your uniform, last time I worked for them…

In my experience they don’t give you anything other than a wage , it suited me at time as needed loads of time off for health reason , they obviously wernt bothered as wernt paying .
Think ad- hoc comming from constant txt saying shortage of work tomorrow , do you want a days hol , the daft ones believed it was a paid days hol , not a unpaid one
Once that daft ones saw there pay slip & cottoned on no - one was taking days off , so had load of drivers spare
Now I guess they ring up as and when

Yes f/W is advertised as £13.99 ph ( -12% hol pay ) = £12.30 ph apx , I can’t believe Spalding or not , there’s not f/t jobs paying that , what do culina / f/W pay full time
Though Stoke ( I assume stobarts depot ) is not much more , £14.50 ph
