Yes the bus bomb was between j26 and j27. I must be getting old and senile. There are memorials in Oldham and at Hartshead services.
I thought it was east of Hartshead moor, I do remember it was taken to the coach place on the A58 Whitehall road and was there for a long time, you could see it from the road as you drove down towards the motorway
