Limpets/Limpers

Won’t touch Class 2 work, havn’t done since 1999.

Yeah, class 2 work. Who even does that? It’s so last century.

Mate of mine keeps getting calls from an agency, wanting him to put a stone in his shoe and do a job at “£11/hour, temp to permanent for Fresh Direct at Bicester.” They hung up on him when he said that temp to permanent means it’s permanent until the Christmas party season is over.

Talking of ‘smashed’, is it just me that thinks wing-nut is stood too close to his back doors when he is shutting them?

The chap could hear a mouse ■■■■ at 1000 paces with those lug holes.

Nothing wrong with my ears in fact they can be quite handy at times. When I’m in a rush I stick me head out the window, start flapping em and can get wagon up to dizzy heights of 57mph

On Driver Hires’ website under Q and As it says that if you turn up and the work is cancelled and you are sent home, they guarantee you will be paid for 4 HOURS. I thought you were guaranteed 8 hours per shift minimum? When I had drivers’ mates I always used to sign for a minimum of 8 even if the shift was less. If they were good blokes and I was going to be around the yard for a while doing something, I booked them the same time as I’d be there for. Plant hire is a minimum of 8 hours hire, plus travelling time minimum of 1 hour each way.

Lol. Downwind you get extra speed, and into wind they act as an airbrake.

Who would have thought it?? All this technology, and all along all you needed was big ears!
