I have to renew my C1 entitlement every year, it’s never back before my old one expires, in fact I had to wait 6 months for it once, according to DVLA every year, as long as I have applied for the renewal I am allowed to drive C1 vehicles, I always ask them for a cover note though, just in case.
Finally got through to dvla and all good, has been processed allready and on its way back very quick service for a change.
They confirmed what coffeholic said needs to be on system to carry on driving so need to send off before expiry deadline.

Reading back through some of Rog’s posts, it would be completely out of character for him to let any form of contrary documented evidence distract him from his marketing his beliefs …

You don’t necessarily need a body for a murder trial. This is TruckNet where all such things are held by Kangaroo Court and normal rules, such as evidence or facts, don’t get in the way of a guilty verdict.

Missed that but I never heard of yearly medicals for any licence for those under the usual cut off age - first for everything
