Thats the one Pete, Gavin had CTV280T and Micheal had CTV279T a dropside tipper, Len Summers must have thought all his Christmasses had come at once that year, he worked as a salesman at Kays at the time, Denis bought those 2, my dad bought CTV296T, Herbert Hambleton bought CTV277T, Andrew Brassington and Alan Harrison both had new Clydesdales but I can’t remember the reg of those 2. Work was plentiful then though.

Thanks a million for them pics sir beautiful they brought back memorys I can say with pride I had the pleasure of driving every type on the reel even one like Bowkers ex WD Hippo 1954 when I was still at school it belonged to A Rowe & sons Cudworth Barnsley Lovely pics pal.
Another great truck used on the Fleetwood trunk , driver was Ivor Parry , she was often seen doing over 70 on the M6 going North ,trying to get to Fleetwood for 9pm .
