its an austrian “hush” certificate (cant remember the actual name, coffeeholic knows!)
Great diary Mat, what are the green stickers on the trailers with an ‘a’ on them for? Had them on some EST trailers a couple of weeks ago.

nice post and great pics. St Petersburg is a fantastic city. The fireworks display is held every year to celebrate “white nights” in mid summer when it doesn’t get dark all night. Its a bit like may morning in Oxford, when everyone goes down to the river and party on the bridges.
The column and statue in the main square are free standing, there are no foundations and nothing holding it to the ground other than the sheer weight of the marble. It’s amazing when you realise that St Petersburg, then leningrad, was subjected to a battering by the germans in WWII and a long siege, and many of the original buildings were destroyed, but they were re built exactly as before.
