Or the B2192 near Lewes
ryly1979:
Is it near the A272 by Maresfield by any chance
No, this one is a B road…

Right county, wrong road. Keep looking East
Need road number, town and as this is a long road the exact location too.
Is it the B2096 at Heathfield ?

Not Heathfield, but heading in the right direction…
Look back through the clues, there is enough there to get this one
Another clue might help - Behind me in my first pic there used to be sails, but its not a yacht
Oh alright then.
You’re on the Ridge (B2093) on the outskirts of Hastings outside the Conquest Hospital.

Yessss!!! The second pic I am stood outside the Conquest Hospital hence the clue about the noisy flashy things. (There is also a fire station along the road)
The sails behind me were Baldslow Windmill, now without sails. (In some places they are called sweeps)
The road is used as a rat-run to avoid the A259 Hastings seafront so does get very busy…
I live about 100m from the first pic …
LOL @ eventually, touché monsieur!
I spent a lot of time in that area once upon a time so it looked familiar ish. Coming from east Kent the A259 was the only real way at one time but Pevensey was a drag and I seem to vaguely remember somewhere with an old arch that you couldn’t get under.

Yes! That 15’-9" bridge on the A259 in St Leonards On Sea could get in the way of some trailers, but the rat run via the Ridge avoids that. The hairpin in Winchelsea can be a bit tough travelling East unless your in a left ■■■■■■! Remember, the raods round here were made for horse & carts, and many have not imporoved since
