This just gets better with every post from Rob. Once again thank you.
Photos of the return journey, not enough though to qualify for a diary so I will just bang them up in one bunch.

Finally resting place for the girder set during the world cup, a game reserve outside Empangeni.
Both trailers out and off to Durban to move a 800t tug boat.

and most importantly fly our Union flag from the top of the trailer.
I am not joking when I say that I am bursting with pride looking at that Union Flag flying proudly on that trailer. You could not have finished that post off in any better way.
Rob. Congratulations to you and the rest of the team. You have restored my faith in what being British is all about.
ps. I spent just under 8 hours in total Google Mapping my way from Durban to Lephalale. I got there 10 minutes before you posted the "arrival on site "pictures.

Never mind one thread, I think it blows everything else on the entire forum away.
Thanks to everyone thats looked and your kind comments.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading and looking at those pics rob. thanks for posting them up.
What sort of power are those fauns and tractomas putting out? How heavy is the set up without the load on?
Thanks again. Jon
The Fauns push out 650 from 19 litre ■■■■■■■■ while the Tractomas 8x8 is 950 bhp and 10x10 is 912bhp from 27 litre Caterpillar.
Empty trailer weighs in at 240 tonnes and each Faun is 50 tonnes. So the journey back we were around 400 tonnes
Brilliant diary, makes my 44tonner look like a Dinky toy.
