Thanks for your kind words tld. And thanks to everyone else for your kindnesses.

We have been given the finishing date now, thankfully we have had forward warning , which means that although we’ve had a finish date served up us , we have in fact got the summer months of work, & may be’ released’ early at the companies discretion!, if we are lucky enough to find another job It is still a bad situation to be in, & very scarey with an uncertain future.
