one off theres done same thing on m74 not long ago story was trailer had fault with air suspension,and went up all on its own and raised the arse off the trailer up enough to nip the bridge and rip the arse off

Why are you focusing so much on the fact that these guys are using standard car sat navs?
I would just focus more on the fact that they are just poor limp dicked excuses for drivers, sat navs or not.
Are you saying, (and are you just taking for granted) that drivers today are so effin feckless that they can not do the job today unless they are using a Truck sat nav, that tells them how and when to do every ■■■■ thing?
Has it really got to that stage where it is taken as obvious that you now NEED a truck sat nav.
The fact that they are EE is irrelavent, a lot of us have driven in areas/towns/countries that we have never been to before, either with or without any sat nav.
I am not the only driver on here who regularly and adequately just use a car sat nav, alongside some form of mapping, and a brain, .and still.manage not to jam my trailer under bridges.
