Sounds like a serious case of misdescribing the job. A case for Consumer Direct perhaps?Is it? Thought it was Halliburton of the US.
They and KBR do all the contracting out there afaik.
It is indeed a British employer and you do pay taxwhile in kuwait!!! The only way you can be tax free is to make sure you spendless then 93 days in the uk in a tax year!!!
There is another company contracting called TXM with lots of Brits working for them who work on a self employed basis so its down to you weather you declare your earnngs and pay tax

KBR are not in kuwait. They lost the contract for kuwait 2 years ago.
ITT and Fluor got the contract.
KBR are only in Iraq now and they’ve had to lay a lot of people off.
Lot of the people i worked in Iraq with are now heading out to afghanistan.
As said before as long as you don’t spend more than 93 days in the UK, you don’t have to pay tax but you are still liable for national insurance.
