Just popping out, Luv!

You have a hell of a job to get to the bar to get a drink because there are always dozens of half naked women hanging about and getting in the way

and the problem with that is …?

the barrel has run out by the time you get there

Some great pictures that take me back especially the forest road and the N1 over miguel’s mountain.

It’s been around 5 years since I’ve been that way in a truck so have they finished the road improvements as you climb the mountain heading for burgos?. Last time I went over there in the rain the road was awash with mud from the works and slippery as hell.

I dropped in to victor’s bar around 3 years ago while on a bike trip to jerez and his daughter said they were looking to sell up because trade was very slack. I know the whole complex was refered to as victors but is his daughter and the dutchman she married still there. I know the place had a bit of a cliched rep. but I’ve had a few cracking nights there in my time.

I also used to do a fair but of sweetcorn from the seville area back to the uk. It wasn’t a bad job but some of the pickups were a bit vague. Most of the packhouse/farms were known by knicknames such as “the Green doors”, The hole in the wall" and best of all “behind the shell garage”. No problem once you knew them but a nightmare for a newby in that neck of the woods.

Keep the piccies of espana coming as I do miss the place.

Cheers
Neilf

They are pretty crap those clubs. You have a hell of a job to get to the bar to get a drink because there are always dozens of half naked women hanging about and getting in the way.

I bet that post will go down well if there are any future Eurotruckers who let there wives read the posts

Nice pictures and read. Reading these diaries certainly doesn’t help when I’m trying to convince myself that I should study to get a “proper” job. :unamused: I’m currently in school but almost every day I think what am I doing here…

Btw that farm had quite “nice” place for turning. At least farmer hadn’t left his “toys” all around which is quite usual on many farms :frowning:
