Well told the planner on the phone this morning I’m leaving and handing my letter in when I get back as I started at 4am so didn’t want to leave the letter in pigeon hole .
Planner was ok but I wait to see what other reaction I will get when I get back

Oh Tarmaceater our resident fantasist.
I’m sure many years ago he did do at least one trip into Europe but the rest of his bull shine has been as a result of listening to other “drivers” in RDC waiting rooms and scouring the internet for exaggerated “stories”.
He’s certainly an enigma.
My African grey parrot has gone missing again, it’s called Chanel Channington .
I’ve known drivers leave one week & return the next , and not once , multiple times , they used to say you’d end up with a bad reputation , but didn’t seem to affect there’s , leaving & comming back every 2 mins
Only time I saw drivers not get back was if they asked for redundancy , the ones who were made redundant did , the office bod who decided this said he didn’t hold grudges !!!
Mind he got dogs abuse at the 1-1,s over why they were asking for redundancy ha ha
