driver,He was on for MFS in stoke the last time i saw him that would be 1994 i would think…Jacks isnt a spelling
mistake thats what he said he pronounced it

Idly watching an old repeat of "Some Mother’s Do "ave ‘em’ Christmas show from 1976, and I noted one scene showed Frank being driven off on the back of a long semi, drawn by a Jacques Atkinson. That would have been about when I worked for them, but it wasn’t me driving on that cushy number.
J.Jacques moved from Acton to Watford in 1967. I can’t think there were two heavy haulage outfits of the same name (Jacques, Jaques boths pronounced Jacks) in Watford were there?.
I only know of the J.Jacques with the blue trucks, they had an assortment of Scammell, Atkinson, ERF…etc.
