Let’s suppose…
The driver DID get round and on his way.
Does the panel think the driver would leave the vehicle/company details in the letter box of the house?
Phoned the company for advice on what to do?
Come back the following night and plant four lines of Maris Pipers?
Carry on like naff-all happened?
I work at Turners - I am in my 50`s British born and bred.
Yes there are loads of Poles and EE`s work there … but, guess what ? , they are very hard workers, generally good drivers ( of course there are a few crap ones ). Meanwhile I can only think of one British young newbie class 2 and he is a mouthy ■■■■. All the other young Brits in society are either studying for marine biology degrees or flipping burgers at McDonalds.
The traffic office has English speakers and Polish speakers on at all times. Some of the collections are remote farms with specific access routes … these are all given to the driver before each job and if you can`t find somewhere the traffic office will guide you in over the phone … this service is available in English and Polish 24 hours per day. Printed maps are given before each job and some of the more difficult routes are posted on the wall of the corridor in both Polish and English.
The size of the fleet and number of drivers there will of course be " incidents "
I will try and find out about the articulated refrigerated rotavator.
