yeah I know…not sure if I am looking forward to that but there again, I’ll get taste of what it’s like tramping over the continent these days as back when I did it the words illegal immigrants were unheard of and Calais was almost a very nice place where to park!! :laughing:

hey Evil, I forgot to ask about Southamptom jobs…‘sorryyyyyy’ :blush: , guess I was just too ‘stunned’ by all the compliments the assessor kept throwing at me :laughing:

but he was also telling me about how many people turn up totally not ready or how he also saw people who went with FAKE licences to be assessed and he could tell they have never been in a truck/driven one, quite ‘scary’ really…how do they think they can get away with it? :open_mouth:

FYI

Had a look at Royal Mail’s Marchwood (Southampton) depot today. loads of Artic’s and trailers, plus 15 or more Class 2 wagons parked up as well.
And that is middle of the day, so could be more…

But as m1cks says, they may be filled by class 1 drivers…

I think It’s all done through the agency Manpower.

So sent them my CV, but not heard back. I’ll give it a chase tomorrow…

meanwhile an hour after I’ve passed the assessment they already called me for a shift, they also asked me today if I can work this week, but I said 'no I’ve already told you I’m working at my full time job all week this week :smiley:
