I have a theory…he got stuck and went all mentalist and psychopathic and is now one by one hunting down those in this thread that said he could do it and exacting his revenge upon them in a slow painful manner by battering them to death with a Eddie Stobrats Corgi model, just a theory.
No! I’m still here! I called the company on the Monday to see how things were, turns out they didn’t even know I was delivering to them let alone in an artic. They had no forklift and I had no tail lift. After some back and forth in the office I was told to take it to Palletways in Bristol as they said it needed to be delivered in a van! I don’t even think I could of got them off even if I had a tail lift! A normal pump truck didn’t lift them at all, weighing almost a 1 ton each! Still, good job I called instead of just turning up. Sorry about not giving you lot any crazy stories of destroying Bristol and other general mayhem, I’ll work harder next time!

It’s not about the drama or craziness or mayhem, we just wanted closure.
It reminds me of the time when I pulled up at this warehouse to make a delivery of two pallets, I walked into the little office area and there is this very buxom lady behind the counter with very little material concealing them, anyway she kept suggesting I go out back into the warehouse with her, which I did and then suddenly…

I never told anyone else the story, so it was you, you dirty B[zb]ard!
It’ll be our little secret ■■■
I would phrase it ‘how do other artic drivers normally approach it’
I always find it amazing how many don’t understand the idea of artic vs rigid vs extender when they get deliveries every day, esp those getting specialist stuff.
For example, a place that sells steel and orders 18M (60’) beams. Says yeah we can take extenders no probs, then “oh thats a big extender, not seen one like that before…err”.
So now I don’t believe anything anyone claims unless they are a driver in a truck.
As for that drop, it gives me the shivers from google street view and I drive extenders most days! Good call Radar.
Out of all the supposed professional drivers responding no-one mentioned the most obvious risk of there being a postman stood in the way. Guess the people on here must have had a lot of birthday card money go missing over the years.
Anyone else fancy a diversion down there to settle it once and for all?
