Well I’m in Grantham at 7am this morning currently sat in the yard at the back of M&S with a 16’2” decker, so the challenge is to get in/out of Grantham without hitting a bridge then ponder wether to head to Dozy’s as I can’t decide if a steak dinner is ideal for breakfast

Mrs hasnt got me anything as livingstone to Grantham in a hour is a tall order even for a tear ■■■ like me , I’m assuming your heading north on a1 ? So straight over lights by McDonald’s , up hill past car garages onto
A1 south then do a u - turn on a1 at ponton, I will then enjoy trying to work out which firm you drive for from pic in Grantham journal , normal headline , Another stupid driver causes mayhem on a1 whilst doing a suicidal u - turn , with accompanying pictures of trailer blocking 2 lanes of a1 as you turn !!
so the question now is -
Where and how is it all going to fall apart ?

Just look for a green meanie in a layby, down the A1 surrounded by Fanta and Ginsters, packaging…

Nowp… I wasn’t going north I’d just driven south, albeit via a U turn at Easton and came into Grantham on the A52.
After tipping I headed out of the service yard, turned right, a 100yds then left onto the A52, then the A17 towards Kings Lynn then up to Fakenham for my 10:30 booking to tip my my 2nd drop. I got there at 10am after stopping at 9:30 for a 15 and phoning to tell them I’d be there early and I was back on the road heading back by 11am.
I got back to the yard by 2pm and home by 2:30pm. The steak is currently simmering in the pan while I do the laundry and the beers are in the fridge.
